The Ashington Diary is very versatile – you can view it in a variety of different formats depending on your preference – Monthly, Weekly, Daily, Agenda or (our personal favourite) Posterboard.

HDC Health & Leisure Walk @ Washington Common & Rowdell | | |
A pleasant 3½ mile circular route, which starts at the National Trust’s Washington Common woods before heading towards Washington Village. From there our route takes us along the foot of the downs past Rowdell before heading back along quite lanes to our starting point. Dogs welcome. Refreshments provided.

HDC Health & Leisure Walk @ Highden Hill and Windlesham | | |
A 4½ mile circular walk, some hills, into the heart of the Downs pas sing Highden Beeches and Windlesham School to the South Downs Way near Washington and up Barnsfarm Hill giving spectacular views. Includes a steep hill. Dogs welcome. Refreshments provided.

A 6½ mile circular walk, some hills, exploring bridleways around Chanctonbury and Findon Park. Dogs welcome. Refreshments provided.

A 3½ mile, mostly flat, easy circular walk through the National Trust’s Sullington Warren, (heathland containing Bronze Age burial mounds) then on to Sandgate Park. Dogs welcome Refreshments provided
